Our establishment
CASA CABRIEL offers the possibility of renting room-by-room or, where preferred, the whole house can be rented. It is a new building (from the year 2000) located in Villargordo del Cabriel, the westernmost area of the Utiel-Requena region. The municipality borders Castile-La Mancha along the Cabriel River, which is its natural border and over the ages has been populated by Iberians, Romans and Moors. Nature is the main ingredient of this area and shows itself in all its splendour, particularly in the Contreras reservoir with its bridge that dates back to the mid 19th century. The Cabriel River has severely eroded the land to form gorges, water sources and great contrasts in the countryside between harsh and luxuriant landscapes.

Rooms
CASA CABRIEL can house up to 8 guests, distributed into 4 bedrooms, all double and with disabled access. All rooms have a full bathroom and television.

Apart from accommodation, guests are provided with the following facilities:

There are many natural tourist areas that can be visited during your stay in Villargordo del Cabriel:
- Village and reservoir of Contreras.
- El Moluengo Peak (1,040 m), Los Altares gorge, Los Cuchillos, Fuente del Buitre Source.
- Pino Dos Hermanos.
- Continental salt mines, Fuente de Chuscos flora micro-reserve.
- El Bancal.
- Cabriel River, Las Hoces.
- Isabel II Bridge (19th century).
For local festivities, this village has several important dates:
- Local bonfires in honour of San Antón: 16 January.
- Carnival Saturday, processions and open-air dance: February.
- Maypoles, songs to the Virgin and village girls parade: 30 April.
- San Isidro Labrador, patron saint of farmers. Brotherhood lunch: 15 May.
- San Antonio, entertainment by the brotherhood: 13 June.
- Festivities in honour of the Virgin and the patron saint, San Roque: 15 to 17 August.
- Pilgrimage to the Virgin of Tejeda: 8 September.
The orography of the area is perfect for all these activities:
